E-mail is very convenient and we are glad to use it to communicate with you about your health. However, there are some things to consider about e-mail before you write:
- E-mail is not a reliable medium. It sometimes does NOT go through. If you have not received an answer in 72 hours, assume that we did not receive your e-mail. Call the office.
- E-mail is not a secure medium. The message that you send will be encrypted by this web site, but despite encryption, assume that the contents of your e-mail may be read by others before it reaches the office.
- Except for requests for appointments or prescription refills, your e-mail will be read only by Dr. Reid. At times when he is not available or out of town, the e-mail will not be read. At such times, if you need an timely answer to your question, call the office. You will be referred to the physician on call.
- DO NOT USE THIS E-MAIL FOR NON-MEDICAL QUESTIONS OR SOLICITATIONS.
Personal matters should be addressed to Dr. Reid at his private e-mail address.
